Questions this video answers
How do I schedule my Airspool mini split to turn on and off automatically?
Open the Airspool app, tap the unit you want to schedule, then select the days of the week you want it to run and set a start time and a stop time. Hit save and the unit will automatically turn on and off at those times going forward.
Can I set different on and off times for different days?
Yes, the app lets you select Sunday through Saturday individually, so you can build a schedule that only runs on the days you choose, such as weekdays only, with one start time and one stop time applied to those selected days.
Can I change my mini split's schedule remotely, away from home?
Yes. The Airspool app lets you view and update the schedule from anywhere in the world, so you can adjust on and off times even when you're not at the property.
Does the Airspool app show how much solar power the unit is using?
Yes, the app displays real-time data such as the number of watts of PV (photovoltaic) solar power the unit is currently drawing, along with the set temperature and the current room temperature.
Do I need any special equipment to use the scheduling feature?
No, scheduling is built into the free Airspool app that comes with your solar mini split. You just need the app installed and connected to your unit.
Will an automatic schedule stop my mini split from holding its set temperature?
No. In the video the unit is set to 74 degrees and holding steady at 75 degrees in the room while running on solar power, showing that a scheduled on/off routine doesn't prevent the unit from maintaining its set point during the hours it's running.

Dave with Airspool here, and one more thing I want to share with you on the Airspool app is how to schedule the on and off times for your unit. Now, what is an Airspool unit, you ask? Well, go to YouTube and subscribe to the Airspool channel.
Okay, so to get to this scheduling, we click on the app, click on the unit we want to schedule. You'll see that this unit right now is running off 660 watts of PV, or photovoltaic, solar power — no alternating current at the time. It's set for 75 degrees, actually it's set for 74 degrees, and it's currently 75 degrees in the space, so it's holding the set point nicely.
And this is how easy it is to set up a schedule. So we can click on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. We can start the unit at 8:00 AM, hit save, and we can turn the unit off at 5 PM on those days. And that's all it takes to schedule the unit to automatically come on and off, and you can change that schedule from anywhere in the world.
