Install the communications/control wires, so you don’t need to know how to thread and connect the wires onto the inside unit and outside unit’s terminal block. Provide you with a UL-approved preinstalled alternating current cord with a plug for 110v-120v North American power.  You don’t need to know how to wire this up to the outside unit’s terminal block, or put any time into this.  It’s done!  See the diagram. If you want/need to connect to 220v-240, that’s possible, too, but may require an electrician to install a new breaker, etc.  Still, 220v-240v is an option for running this unit if that’s easier or preferable for you.
