Run Off Grid

Airspool has four click-in solar panels attached to the outside unit to allow you to run totally off grid when it's sunny.

Unlike past hybrid systems or 48v off-grid systems, the solar panels plug directly into compatible/matching MC4 connectors. No external charge controller is needed. No batteries are needed. You just need sun. If there's not enough sun to run the unit at the full required speed to work toward meeting the temperature setpoint you've established, the unit's motors will just slow down a bit, or slow substantially or completely if there’s little or no sun. But, use a normal 110v plug to plug in the outside unit, and then Airspool will keep running at the speed the internal controls for the system recommends to meet your desired setpoint. Off grid or hybrid…your choice.
